Digging a bit deeper however and there are free Costume Catalogs for DOA5LR which are “required in order to use the following costumes for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round…” – still leaving it unclear if you get access to those costumes or if you are required to pay even more for the privilege of using them.Īs if that’s not bad enough, there are over 190 pieces of DLC available on the Xbox One version in the form of single characters, outfits, character packs, and even movies & music. Now here’s where it gets confusing, according to the Dead or Alive website, there’s quite a bit of DLC included in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round – including Player’s Swimwear, Hotties Swimwear, Santa costumes, Legacy costumes, Round 3 costumes, and much more – but if you look at the description for the $40 bundle, none of it seems to be listed there. While you can play online with the Core Fighters pack, you can’t play the story mode – you’ll have to pay extra to unlock that.
